New Pixel 2 May Have LG’s OLED Display

The smartphone and technological giant Google has decided to launch its new generation of Pixel smartphone. There were many rumors about the new Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 smartphone. Well, it seems that there is a new rumor in the market. The rumor says that the new Pixel will be exactly same as the current smartphone. Let us first revise the specs of the existing Google Pixel smartphone.

The Google Pixel has 5.0-inch of AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a pixel ratio of 1080 x 1920. It also has a pixel density of 441 ppi and a 69.0% of screen-to-body ratio. The device is fueled by a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 processor and has a GPU of Adreno 530. The smartphone currently runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Speaking of memory, the handset offers of 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB/128 GB of internal memory for storage. This internal storage memory cannot be further expanded via external MicroSD card.

Moving towards the imaging duties, the new Google Pixel has 12.3 MP of rear camera with dual LED flash as well as f/2.0 aperture along with EIS (gyro), phase detection & laser autofocus, and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. It also offers an 8 MP of front camera with f/2.4 aperture for capturing selfies. The device runs on a 2,770 mAh battery capable of giving 456 hours of standby time, 26 hours of talk time, and 110 hours of music play time. In terms of connectivity, the handset offers VoLTE, 4G, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, and Bluetooth. The device will be available in quite black, very silver, and really blue variants. Last but not the least; let us discuss about the price factor. The Google Pixel is priced for Rs 57,000.

The new and upcoming Pixel two will be similar to the existing one with slight changes in the camera as well as memory. One major modification will be in display. It is said that the smartphone will have OLED display. The upcoming Pixel 2 will sport the flexible OLED displayed designed and developed by LG. Well, that is something new!!!
