HTC’s “Sense Companion” To Be Launched in U Series Smartphones

Artificial intelligence is taking the smartphone market all to another level. Lately, the smartphones have a number of apps either built-in or downloaded in order to make the phones user friendly. The smartphones help increase the human-machine interaction to a larger extent. After Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, and Google, it is now HTC’s turn to explore the artificial intelligence technology.

HTC has planned to launch its Sense Companion app in its new phones such as U Ultra and U play smartphones. This artificial intelligence-based app will be soon made available to all its users in the coming months. The app once installed can provide the users certain features such as battery recharge reminders, increase the device’s performance and thus, in short, improve the overall smartphone utilization experience. The Sense Companion app helps the users keep a track of the steps taken and distance covered in order to keep a control over their fitness. The app also provides suggestions regarding the clothing, depending on the climatic changes and provides diet advice as well. The traffic alerts and the nearby restaurant locations can be obtained through the HTC app.

In order to make this app available to all its users, HTC has planned to launch it in February-released U Play and U Ultra smartphones. According to HTC, its new phone “U Ultra” is a dual display handset with a 5.7-inch Quad HD LCD display, 2-inch secondary display, 64GB and 128GB storage capacity. It has a RAM of about 4GB. The HTC U Ultra smartphone has a quad-core processor of Qualcomm Snapdragon 821. The phone is available in India with a price tag of Rs 59,990. It comes in brilliant blue, ice white, cosmetic pink and sapphire blue color options. A 12MP rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, BSI sensor, PDAF f/1.8 aperture, OSI; 16MP front camera; 3000mAh battery; and 3.0 quick recharge are the other mind-blowing features U Ultra provides you with. In addition to these features, HTC plans to introduce the Sense Companion app in it to further advance its technology.
